Oddział w Będzinie obejmuje swoim obszarem działania łącznie 2 515 km2 powierzchni (woj. śląskie – 1 583 km2, woj. małopolskie – 932 km2) obsługując łącznie 458 515 odbiorców. W Oddziale Będzin zatrudnionych jest 1 647 osób.

W ramach Oddziału funkcjonują jednostki organizacyjne:

• centrala z siedzibą w Będzinie, pełniąca funkcje zarządcze i koordynacyjne,
• siedem jednostek terenowych: Sosnowiec, Trzebinia-Siersza, Zawiercie, Mysłowice, Będzin, Dąbrowa Górnicza i Jaworzno, którym podlega 9 punktów obsługi klienta i posterunków energetycznych.
